As mentioned in our May 28th news, the 2011 ITSF Table Soccer World Cup will take place in Nantes, France, from January 6th to 9th, 2011.
What’s new in 2011?
For the first time in 2011, the most important matches of the World Cup will be broadcast LIVE on Eurosport 2. Viewers in about 50 million homes in 58 countries will follow their favourite players and teams.
The 2011 edition of the World Cup will also feature special tournaments, held during the official competition:
- The Foos on Wheels Tournament, for people in wheelchairs, played on specially designed soccer tables;
- The Country Road Take Me To Town Tournament, a competition between teens from junior and high schools of the four corners of the Nantes’ department;
- The Ph.D. Tournament, open to all college and university students of the department;
- The VIP Tournament, for the media, World Cup sponsors and representatives of the local governing bodies only.
Sponsor the World Cup!
In 2010, the World Cup was largely covered by the media and attended by more than 15 000 people who came to watch the games.
To show our appreciation, at the 2011 event a 300m2 hall will be exclusively open to our partners for their private use for PR events and meetings and a special tournament will give them the opportunity to develop their business network and meet with the local media.
Come and join the World Cup and helps us make it a truly incredible and unforgettable show!
