He just completed his 17th season in Cleveland and his fifth as general manager.Chris Antonetti, president of baseball operations, Chernoff and the rest of the Indians front office has helped produce eight straight winning seasons under manager Terry Francona. They have been to the postseason four times in the last five years, including qualifying for the wild card round this year.Chernoff started working for the Indians in 2003 as an intern in the baseball operations department.
